Indiegogo Campaign--"How Did I Forget?"

A brief, sketchy landscape, and yet, it is just what I want to see. I applied colour then let the shapes become something by drawing the colours together. Water colours (and water colour pencils) readily flow together in liquid release.
Visual art can be a strong memory machine. Just the immediacy of colour and shapes can remind one: I was at that place, I was in the sunshine, I felt the rain. The place in this picture exists outside experience, yet carries a feeling no less strong. Too often we miss a moment by looking elsewhere. That moment is always there.
At best, such thoughts as above occur before or after the creation of a work, not during. At least for me, the work depends on my not getting in the way. That means not worrying about the reception of the work, the propriety of it, or any attribute of its worth. Just melt into the act of creation.
My Indiegogo campaign seeks to produce high-resolution scans of my paintings, from which high-quality giclée prints can be printed. I lack both skill and equipment to make the best prints of my work. Please consider contributing a drop of starlight.
